Renovation of a transportation facility in Seatac, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Question Cut-off Date: Jan 31, 2023, 4:30:00 AM The Port of Seattle is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Advertisement for Bids. Any bids received after the published bid submittal time will be rejected. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 451 calendar days. This contract will be funded in part by a grant, from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The project scope for Restrooms Phase 5 includes the renovation of (5) existing restrooms at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to reflect the latest Port of Seattle Restroom Standards. The existing restrooms near gates B-3, C-16, and D-ll are to be renovated to multi-fixture gendered specific. (Women's / Mens) restrooms with (2) adjacent single fixture (Family) restrooms. One of the single fixture restrooms at C-16 will include an adult changing table. The D-3 existing restrooms will be converted to a series of single fixture (Family) restrooms. While the existing restrooms near gate D-l will be converted to our first "Amenities Suite" which will include a Service Animal Relief Area (S.A.R.A.), Nursing Suite with adjoining Lactation Room and two single fixture (Family) restrooms, with one of the restrooms to include an adult changing table. All ofthe locations require renovated plumbing, HVAC, lighting, restroom fixtures, tile, flooring, decorative tile, glass entrances and miscellaneous finishes. This contract has a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $8,000,000 - $16,000,000. All bidders are directed to Document 00 08 01 -FAA Contract Provisions and Document 00 83 00- Civil Rights, Title VI, and Non-Discrimination. In accordance with federal requirements, the Port has determined that this contract has subcontracting possibilities and has established a goal on this contract of 4.0 percent (%) for the use of firms owned and controlled by Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Bidders must furnish (with their bids) the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Proposal form as a matter of bid responsiveness. If the apparent low bidder does not. meet the P)BE goal, then it must provide the 'Documentation of Good Faith Efforts" form to the Port within two (2) business days of the bid opening. If requested by the Port, other bidders must furnish the "Documentation of Good Faith Efforts" form to the Port within two (2) business days of the Port requesting the bidder to do so. Whether a bidder meets the DBE goal or made good faith efforts to do so is evaluated as a matter of bidder responsibility. Title VI solicitation notice The Port of Seattle, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Any person who believes they have been aggrieved, by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint, with the Port. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the Port's Title VI Coordinator within one hundred, eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
