Carroll Avenue & Flower Avenue - Takoma Park County: Montgomery Classification: D ($1,000,001 to $2,500,000) Funding: Federal F.A.P. Number: AC-STBG-G-5075(5)E This project, located in Montgomery County, is for the safety and resurface of MD 195. Beginning at the Washington, DC line and extending in a northeasterly direction to MD 193 for a total distance 1.9 miles. The work will consist of the following: Pavement Resurfacing. Pedestrian facility reconstruction for ramps, sidewalks, bus stops, and driveway entrance crossings to meet ADA compliance. Pavement signing and roadway markings. Clean existing drainage structures and pipes and provide reconstruction where necessary. Erosion and sediment control. Reconstruct outside of roadway at north end of project along the northbound lanes by providing curb and gutter to eliminate existing drainage issues. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
