Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Takoma Park, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of construction includes, tree preservation, site demolition, grading, erosion and sediment control, utility connections, and installation of SWM facilities, retaining walls, stairs, paving, and a deck. The scope also includes improvements to the existing court areas, installation of site furnishings as well as play field improvements and landscape planting. Deadline for Technical Questions: June 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.Questions must be submitted via e-mail to: Christee.Helfrich@montgomeryparks.org A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, are required for any construction contract in excess of $100,000.00. Prior to executing a contract, the Commission will require the selected Contractor to furnish Performance and Payment bonds for the amount of the purchase order. The Notice to Proceed will not be issued until all required bonds have been submitted and approved. In special circumstances, additional insurance requirements shall be specified in the contract
