The Lee County School Board is soliciting sealed Request for Proposals (RFP) for the removal and replacement of windows at Jonesville Middle School. All inquiries for information regarding proposal submission requirements or procurement procedures should be directed to the primary contact, Stacey Belcher, Assistant Superintendent, at stacey.belcher@lee.k12.va.us. The Lee County School Board and Lee County Public Schools (LCPS) shall not be responsible for verbal clarification of information provided by parties other than the designated staffmember. The Lee County School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to accept an offer which is deemed in its best interest. The awarded contractor will be required to remove and replace existing windows at Jonesville Middle School as requested by an authorized School Board representative. Contractors must meet the minimum standards and all regulations as established by, but not limited to, the State of Virginia, U.S. Government, and EPA. An authorized School Board representative must be present when the removal and replacement of windows is made. Work will be performed during regular business hours. Regular business hours are between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. In the event that state testing is scheduled, LCPS may request that the bidders work schedule be altered during the testing schedule.
