The bidder shall deliver, by hand carry, courier service, or mail, an original plus one copy of the Bid Proposal, together with one electronic copy on a CD or flash drive, in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project written clearly on the outside of the envelope addressed to Suzanne Boland, RMC, Municipal Clerk, Fredon Township, 443 Route 94, Newton, New Jersey 07860. Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond made payable without condition to the Township of Fredon in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000 in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21. The Township will not be responsible for late mail deliveries and no bids will be accepted after the time stipulated in the NOTICE TO BIDDERS. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et. seq. regarding Affirmative Action and Mandatory Equal Employment. The Township Committee reserves the right to award a contract in its sole discretion and further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and decide as to the responsibility of the bidders, and make an award on a lump sum basis.
