Work consists of all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to repair the existing precast deck units, patch the concrete abutments, install new 4-inch-thick concrete slab, excavate within the Kennedy Park area, reconstruct deck joints, removal of existing bituminous pavement and placement of new overlay, application of membrane waterproofing, removal of existing concrete sidewalks, c After the bids are opened, all offers will be considered firm for a period of ninety days and no bid may be withdrawn for any reason during that period except for such cause as the City of Danbury in its sole discretion deems sufficient. The last day that questions will be accepted and responded to shall be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 19, 2023. A bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid.
