Renovation of a transportation facility in Danbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
HART Transit Interior Renovations A bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each bid. Bids must be held firm and may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the bid opening. The successful bidder must post a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, a one hundred percent (100%) Labor & Materials Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance with the CFO within ten (10) days of notice of bid award. Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of minimum wages and compliance with certain local, state, and federal requirements. HARTransit has established a goal of 1.6% of the overall project cost for DBE/MBE participation. Each bidder is responsible for checking the websites to determine if any addenda have been issued. HARTransit reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, or to waive defects in same, or to accept any proposal, or part thereof, deemed to be in the best interest of HARTransit for whatever reason.
