Fire Station #7, located at 2203 Leonard Ave, Albany, GA 31705, needs new concrete floor installed in both bays and drive areas due to a failing aggregate base and a newer heavier truck the Fire Department now uses. Bay 1 has been partially excavated and tested with several other samples taken and the results contained in the bid documents. It is required that the station remain open during the rehabilitation work. To accomplish this, each bay will be repaired individually, and care must be taken to ensure the fire fighters on duty have a safe ingress and egress while accessing all equipment and vehicles located in the open for use bay.
