Water Treatment Plant Improvements Phase One The project consists of replacement of water treatment chlorination equipment, replacement of powdered activated carbon (PAC) equipment and replacement of valve actuators at the Walters Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The physical location of the WTP is 0.7 miles north of State Highway 5 on County Road N2610. Bids shall be made in accordance with this Request for Bids and the Bidding Documents. Sealed proposals shall be addressed to the Walters City Clerk, 129 East Colorado Street/P.O. Box 485, Walters, Oklahoma 73572, and shall be labeled "REQUEST FOR BIDS, DO NOT OPEN" and "Walters WTP improvements, Phase One." It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their proposal is actually in the City Hall of the City of Walters prior to the expiration of the time and date stated above. Due to the type of project this is, the contractor will not be able to use tax exempt purchases on this project.
