The project extends from West Mansfield Avenue to West Hampden Avenue along South Pierce Street, and other locations in the District. This project is located in the Lakehurst Water and Sanitation District, Jefferson County, Colorado. The project includes cured in place pipe lining (CIPP) of approximately 5,077 linear feet of 8-inch and 10-inch sewer main. The project includes rehabilitation of 34 manholes and lining of 96.5 VF of manholes. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check payable to Lakehurst Water and Sanitation District shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish Performance and Payment bonds to the District in the amount of 100 percent of the contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. No proposal will be accepted from any firm, person, or corporation, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, or is deemed incompetent, irresponsible, or unreliable by the District Board of Directors. No bids will be considered which are received after the time mentioned, and any bids so received after the scheduled closing time shall be returned to the bidder unopened. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to accept that proposal or combination of proposals, if any, which in its sole and absolute judgment, will under all circumstances best serve the District s interest.
