General work description: The County of Santa Cruz Department of Community Development and Infrastructure invites qualified firms to submit a proposal for Construction Management On-Call Services for projects at various locations throughout the County. Due to the large number of projects anticipated to be awarded in the coming years, construction management services are needed for various types of County Capital Improvement Projects or other County projects including but not limited to storm damage repair, bridge replacement, pavement resurfacing, drainage improvement, and guardrail replacement. The required services shall ensure projects are constructed in accordance with the contract documents and County requirements. Question Submission Deadline:January 4, 2023, 4:00pm Question Response Deadline:January 6, 2023, 4:00pm The County constructs numerous roadway, bridge, sanitation, and similar public works type projects every year that are state, federally, and locally funded. In order to comply with state and federal regulations and due to limited staffing and expertise, certain services are contracted out. For services described in RFPs, the selected Consultant shall perform consultation, research, and professional and technical services required for construction management services. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
