Labor Commission PWP No.: CC-2023-002 Notice is hereby given that the Carson City School District (CCSD), Carson City, Nevada will receive sealed bids for the following project, identified as CHS Boy's & Girl's Locker Room Remodel Phase II # 51-22-03. The Public Works number for this project is CC-2023-002. CHS Boy's & Girl's Locker Room Remodel Phase II # 51-22-03 Scope of Work: The scope of this project involves work in both the Girl's and Boy's locker rooms. The Girl's locker room includes the removal and installation of new lockers and some minor alterations of the existing space to improve circulation and repurpose underutilized space. Associated work includes saw cutting of masonry walls, replacement of plumbing fixtures, new lighting, painting and repair/patching of incidental areas of tile. Due to long lead times the new lockers are to be procured by the contractor ahead of the start of construction to insure timely installation. The Boy's locker room involves demolition and rebuild of the toilet room and modifications to the showers. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Firms interested in submitting a bid in response to the Invitation to Bid must meet the requirements of NRS 338 as it relates to eligible bidders which include, but are not limited to the following requirements: be licensed as a contractor with appropriate license limit and class, be qualified to bid on public works projects (as qualified by the State of Nevada Public Works Division), have appropriate bonding limit and levels of insurance to, at a minimum, cover the total cost of construction. The right is reserved by CCSD to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed best for the interest of CCSD, in accordance with NRS.
