Site work for a transportation facility in Olathe, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This project will provide engineering services to make necessary modifications to the railroad crossing at Dennis Ave, 151st Terr., and 159th Street to provide for a quiet zone. As part of the design, less expensive options, such as wayside horns at the 151st Terrace locations will also be evaluated. The project will include survey of existing conditions, utility coordination, cost estimates, acquisition documentation (title reports, surveyed exhibits, easement documents, etc.) needed for any right-of-way or easements (if needed), traffic counts as needed, developing construction plans in accordance with Olathe and BNSF specifications, and coordination with utilities, the railroad, and Olathe.
