Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Olathe, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Olathe, Kansas, Infrastructure Department is requesting qualified design firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of conceptual design for the following projects: 1) K-7 Highway & Harold Street Pedestrian Bridge Concept Design This project will look at alternatives to construct an above grade pedestrian bridge over K-7 Highway at Harold Street. Improvements will include sidewalk improvements and a pedestrian bridge spanning K-7 Highway. 2) Old 56 Highway & 151st Street Intersection Improvements Concept Design This project will evaluate configuration options to construct traffic signal and geometric improvements at the intersection of Old 56 Highway and 151st Street. Improvements will include pavement construction, geometric improvements, and traffic signal improvements. At this time, funding is available for conceptual designs and layouts of the above projects.
