This project includes replacement of the existing Fernley Train Depot building roof including but not limited to the following: Demolition of existing wood shingle roofing; installation of wood framing and blocking members; structural plywood sheathing diaphragm; self-adhered synthetic underlayment; metal flashings; composite roof shingles; attic roof vents; removal and reinstallation of existing metal ridge cap; batt insulation; removal and replacement of wood siding; and painting. This project includes demolition of existing dilapidated wood shingles and dimensional board wood sheathing in preparation of the installation of a new composite shingle roof system. Installation includes new structural plywood sheathing, blocking, flashing, adhered underlayment, roof ventilation and snow guards for a complete weatherproof roof installation. The project will require removal of partial existing wood siding to properly install new flashing at roof to wall or chimney locations. Verify all existing conditions and layout prior to construction.
