Demolition, site work, new construction and remodeling of an educational facility in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the expansion of a primary / secondary education facility.
Debbie Smith CTE Academy GMP-1 Sitework The proposal must be substantially and materially complete and respond to details and requirements of the instructions to bidders to be considered. Be licensed by the Nevada State Public Works Board. The proposer that will perform work of at least 1% of the estimated value or $50,000 whichever is greater must be prequalified and notified in writing by Q&D Construction prior to advertisement for proposals. Proposers not prequalified will have their proposals returned to them unopened. Q&D Construction requests bids for all portions of the work as described herein for the construction of Debbie Smith CTE Academy for the Washoe County School District. All subcontractors must be bondable and provide their bond rate on the proposal form. Insurance is to be provided by the bidder as described in the Project Manual. Description: Existing Hug High campus consists of 9 buildings: o Demolition of 5 existing buildings (completed by WCSD) o Remodel of 4 existing buildings o Construction of 1 new CTE Building GMP-1 trades required are earthwork, survey, fencing, site concrete, soil nailing, waterproofing, site railings, temporary electrical and landscape maintenance. Project Schedule: Start April 2023, Completion Summer 2025
