Site work for a civil project in Edgewood, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
This project has been on the City's Spot Improvement Program for many years, but significant stormwater flows and velocities have caused more frequent maintenance issues in recent years. Due to the scope of improvements needed, this project has been elevated from the Spot Improvement Program to the Capital Improvement Program. This project will install necessary surface water conveyance improvements along the stretch of Monta Vista between 51st St E and 53rd St Ct E, converting the existing ditch line into a culvert, replacing damaged and failing culverts with a new system meeting present day design and construction standards, and improving traffic safety with widened travel lanes and new curbing. This project is in included in the City of Edgewood FY 2024 - 2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of October 15, 2024, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
