The City of Alexandria (City) desires to establish master service agreement contract(s) with interested and qualified professional services firms. The purpose and intent of this Request for Qualifications (RFQU) is for the City of Alexandria, Virginia to solicit proposals for engineering and consulting services to include, but not be limited to performance of planning, master planning, and program support; A-E investigative and design services including development of construction documents; construction support; engineering and environmental studies, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation; investigations and surveys in support of a variety of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Task orders will be determined as the need arises for individual projects based on a defined scope of services and applicable hours. No task orders have been identified, nor is there a guarantee as to the number of task orders or dollar amounts that will be authorized. The exact scope of services to be provided for each project will be identified in the Task Order Request for the specific project and may include, but not be limited to, the services and work outlined in Section C. Proposers should not rely on representations, statements, or explanations other than those made in this RFQU or in any amendment to this RFQU. Period of Performance (POP): The contract term shall begin on the date of award of the Contract and shall remain in effect for a period of one (1) year, with three (3) one (1) year options, exercised by mutual agreement via contract modification. The sum of all projects performed in a one-year contract term and the maximum fee for any single project shall be limited to the thresholds established by the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA) and adopted by the City of Alexandria.
