The work shall include the following: This project consists of an approximately 90,000 square feet, two-story, new facility including a Police Station, District Supervisor's Office, Public Regional Library, Childcare Center, Active Adult Center, a small museum, and public meeting spaces. There will be onsite parking for all uses via two multi-level, above-ground, pre-cast parking garages: one three-level garage with approximately 180 parking spaces for the public, including six electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and another secure three-level garage with approximately 170 parking spaces for the Police Department with two EV charging stations. Sitework includes a fueling station, playground for the Childcare Center, drive aisles for internal site circulation, a trash area, a secure fenced area for the Police, on-site stormwater management facilities such as bio-retention ponds, and an underground stormwater facility.
