The Town of Wallingford is accepting bids for "I-91 Sewage Pumping Station Replacement - Contract 52". 1 Replacement Pumping Station 2 Demolition of Existing Pumping Station 3 Test Pits 4 Extra for Rock 5 Additional Backfill Material 6 Bituminous Concrete Lip Curbing 7 Allowance for Utility Company Charges 8 Allowance for Traffic Control A bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, for 10% of the base bid amount, must accompany each proposal. The awarded bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance and Materials Payment Bond written by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. Awarded vendor will be required to add a Maintenance Bond or extend the Performance and Labor and Material bonds through the maintenance period. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to award any part or parts, or total proposal, and to waive any informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town
