Unless otherwise stated in Section B of these Specifications, the State DOT material acceptance certificate(s) and number(s) shall be provided on request. The supply of sub-standard or non-compliant material by any awarded vendor shall be cause to reject the material and may also be cause for the County to purchase the material from an alternate source and charge the difference in cost between the bid price and the price paid to such alternate source to the rejected vendor, and to cancel the vendor's contract in its entirety. The County of Chemung or any contracting agency reserves the right to inspect and test all materials.
