Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Sugar Land, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project generally consists of the following: 1. Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of improvements to City of Sugar Land's Telfair Raw Water Pump Station (lat/long 29.606456, -95.637526). Work includes but is not limited to the following: a. Removal of existing pond vegetation within the limits of construction as shown on the contract drawings. b. Installation of coffer dam / sheet piling methods to accommodate the installation of both the rip rap shoring, intake screen and associated piping. Contractor shall submit means and methods during the construction period for review and approval. c. Replacement of the suction tee intake screen assembly and rock rip rap around the screen assembly, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. d. Replacement of the control panel and air compressor unit for the air backwash system, including the replacement of the air line for the screen air backwash system (Hydroburst). The system will be placed on a new concrete foundation. The air compressor unit will utilize existing electrical equipment power supply. Replacment to be completed together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. e. Restoration of the edge of bank on the north side of the pump station site as shown in the Contract Drawings, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. f. Remove, furnish and install air release valve and adjacent spool piece. Sandblast and re-coat existing remaining vertical piping. g. Removal of existing fencing and replacement with in kind fencing. 2. Alternative Bid Items that may be implemented at the City of Sugar Lands request a. Installation of a canopy structure over the air backwash system compressor, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. The canopy is considered an alternate bid item. b. Remove and replace existing 12-inch gate valve within the valve vault for the air piping. c. Remove and replace existing pump station hatch. Contractor to field verify measurements prior to ordering material. d. Removal and replacement of the missing pump rail sections. Repair/replace existing pump intake elbow as required. e. Sand blasting and re-coating of the existing piping with the raw water pump station valve vault. f. Removal and replacement of the existing site lighting with new LED type spot lighting.
