DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The City lifeguard and pool maintenance and repair services as described and in accordance with all Texas laws and rules pertaining to public swimming pools for the City's public pool located at 225 7th street. The City of Sugar Land is requiring that the contractor have expertise in providing services such as pool maintenance and repair, along with lifeguard staffing and management. The City's Pool at City Park was built in 1967, is open to the public throughout the summer and is not heated. The pool is 25 yards long and ranges from 3-12 feet in depth, with two 1-meter diving boards. The Swim-Season will begin when the pool is open on the 25th day of May 2024. During the Swim-Season, the awarded contractor will maintain and operate the Pool by completing the following Services as necessary: (a) Maintain and store in their location all safety and maintenance equipment; (b) Organize and keep Pool furniture clean and orderly; (c) Enforce Pool rules and regulations; and (d) All completed Swim Season Duties will be recorded daily in the Pool's Log and provided to the City upon request Questions regarding this bid must be received by the City of Sugar Land's Purchasing Office no later than 3:00 P.M., Thursday, December 21, 2023.
