All questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on February 10th, 2023. The Project consists of the following: Furnish and install 10 vertical extraction wells including 6 vertical extraction wells with slip casings. Furnish and install approximately 1,010 linear feet of 24-inch HDPE piping to replace existing above grade 10-inch piping. Furnish and install approximately 280 linear feet of 12-inch HDPE piping to replace existing 8-inch below grade piping. Furnish and install approximately 1,300 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE lateral piping. Furnish and install approximately 740 linear feet of 4-inch HDPE condensate forcemain piping. Furnish and install approximately 750 linear feet of 2-inch HDPE compressed air piping. Furnish and install approximately 430 linear feet of 2-inch HDPE compressed air piping and 4-inch HDPE condensate forcemain piping. Furnish and install approximately 420 linear feet of horizontal collector piping with associated lateral and wellhead trap. Furnish and install approximately 580 linear feet of 6-inch perforated HDPE surface collector piping. Furnish and install approximately 650 linear feet of 6-inch perforated HDPE toe collector piping. Reconnection of all existing collection device wellheads and/or laterals from the existing 10-inch and 8-inch headers to the new 24-inch and 12-inch headers. Furnish and installation all wellheads, fittings, valves and appurtenances. Furnish materials and install three (3) 100-foot by 50-foot leachate recirculation blankets with associated leachate injection piping. Furnish and install three (3) vertical extraction well dewatering pumps. Surveying, site preparation, erosion and sediment controls and restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Lanchester Landfill, 7224 28th Division Highway, Narvon, PA 17555 and thereafter, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via USPS Mail. Prospective bidders wishing to have the documents shipped via overnight courier must provide an account number when requesting bid documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. The Contract Documents may also be obtained from the Issuing Office in conjunction with printed copies of the Bidding Documents as PDF and AutoCAD (.dwg) format for quantity takeoff and estimation purposes. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
