Demolition/ Mold Remediation/ Infestation and General Cleanup of 212 Yankee Drive, single family home on the Town's Subsidized Housing Inventory TOTAL ESTIMATE FOR SCOPE OF WORK HEREIN: $40,000.00 Advertised Quote process as allowed under MGL 149 as amended, Prevailing Wage, OSHA certification required Location of Proposed Work 212 Yankee Drive, Brewster, MA: Contractors are responsible for verification of field conditions, measurements, and quantities. Inspection and any other fees are to be included in all bids. The costs of building permits will be waived as the Town of Brewster is the owner of the home. The costs of providing all labor and all materials shall be included in the bids. All work items in this project are subject to the requirements of the 9th EDITION of 780 CMR 51.00, the Massachusetts Residential Building Code and the 2015 International Residential Code. This project is also subject to all applicable sections of 105 CMR, the State Sanitary Code. The work shall also comply with the requirements of the State and Local Historical Commissions. SCOPE OF WORK -DEMOLITION/ MOLD REMEDIATION/INFESTATION & GENERAL CLEANUP 1. Provide all labor, materials and equipment required to completely remove all interior Wall and Ceiling Sheathing, including all fasteners, in the Property back to the Framing. 2. Provide all labor, and equipment required to completely remove all interior Flooring and Underlayment, including the fasteners in the Property back to the Sub-flooring. 3. Provide the labor required to completely remove all existing Insulation from within the Property. 4. Provide all materials, equipment, and labor for mold remediation from the Property. 5. Follow all containment and safety practices where applicable to contain mold levels. 6. Assess and determine all areas of contamination of mold and infestation 7. Remove and discard all contaminate surfaces, cabinets, vanities etc. throughout the home and including the garage. To include dumpster and disposal of all materials. 8. HEPA vacuum all surfaces and apply EPA approved disinfectant/stain remover where needed. 9. Provide all safe practices of decontamination, such as fog, disinfectantdeodorizing and/or air scrubbing. 10. Provide a third-party post-test from and independent lab. 11. Dispose of all demolition and mold remediation debris per the Town, State and Federal Requirement and Regulations.
