Renovation of a water / sewer project in Brewster, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Bid bond certified check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The project consists of, but is not limited to, providing site protection, power washing, spot surface preparation and coating rehabilitation of interior and exterior coatings, and application of exterior high performance overcoat coatings. Standpipe No. 1 is 2.0 million gallon in capacity, constructed of welded steel plate, and is 61-feet in diameter and 92-feet in height to overflow. Standpipe No. 2 is 3.0 million gallon in capacity, constructed of welded steel plate and is 76-feet in diameter and 90.5-feet in height to overflow A performance bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract, as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total contract price.
