The Village of Biscayne Park, Florida (the "Village"), a municipality located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeks to secure qualified and experienced Professional Consulting firms (the "Firm" and/or "Consultant") to submit statements of qualifications to provide services as required under a non-exclusive continuing services contract for the following; providing general engineering and architectural services to provide planning, reviews, assessments, reports, studies, design, project permitting, renderings, schedules, cost estimates, construction specifications, project management, construction engineering inspection (CEI) and construction management for projects such as, roadway, transportation/traffic signalization, traffic calming, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, site plan, architectural planning and design (including structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing), sustainability, environmental and landscape architectural. Firms that submit a proposal must be able to accomplish any of the listed services. Firms may subcontract work as needed provided that the sub contractor is listed in the Firm's proposal and/or approved by the Village. The Village does not guarantee that the Consultants will receive work if awarded a continuing contract for consulting services. Professional services awarded through this RFQ will be for individual projects that do not exceed $4,000,000 in basic construction cost, and for study activities if the fee for professional services for each individual study does not exceed $500,000. The Village, on an as needed basis, will periodically issue specific projects and assignments to the retained Consultant(s) by a Task Order, or Project Agreement. The selected Firm(s) shall demonstrate specific experience and capabilities and must have personnel qualified through education and experience in the specified discipline(s). The qualifications and selection of consultants shall be in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.055; Continuing Contract. The selected consultants must be currently licensed to practice in the State of Florida, as required by law.
