**As of February 4, 2022, the project was awarded to Acosta Tractors, Inc. with the awarded amount of $1,119,714.55. The work to be done under this Contract and in accordance with the contract documents consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials to install a new 12-inch water main on N.E 6th Avenue and N.E. 137th Street in the City of North Miami. The project will include but not be limited to installation of the new utility, connection to the existing City water main system, water service and water meter connections, fire, isolation and air release valves, utility testing, abandonment of existing water mains, maintenance of traffic, roadway and site restoration, and all other appurtenances necessary for a complete utility installation. Construction of this project will require close coordination with the Owner and Engineer. A 5% of the amount of the base bid as a Bid Bond must be included with Bid submittal, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into an agreement with the City if the bid is accepted, and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for award of Contract, as stipulated herein.
