Type 13 (Bulky) Waste Disposal Written request must contain company name, company address, contact name, contact telephone number, contact fax telephone number, and contact email address in order to receive link to download Documents. All digital Documents are at no cost to Bidder and only Registered Bidders will be allowed to submit a Bid. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained electronically between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays beginning on Thursday, December 29, 2022, upon written request to the contacts listed above. Contract Documents are only available in digital format via email. There is no cost to obtain the Contract Documents. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Hackensack, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each Bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder. Successful Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of: N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Affirmative Action Section 1 of P.L.1977, c.33 Statement of Ownership (N.J.S.A. C.52:25-24.2) N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.48 Public Works Contractor Registration N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.25, et. seq. (P.L. 1963, c.150, Prevailing Wage) N.J.S.A. C.52:32-44 Business Registration Executive Order#34 (1976)-Debarred Vendors If awarded a Contract, your Company/Firm shall be required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which SHALL be submitted in triplicate, One Stamped Original, and Two Stamped Copies. The submitted Bid packages shall be complete with the Bid description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. The envelope must also identify the Bid as City of Hackensack Type 13 (Bulky) Waste Disposal. The City of Hackensack reserves the right to consider Bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept Bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms.
