Site work for a swimming pool in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
In the 2009 Fairfax Pool Master Plan, an area south of the pool was designed as a winter recreation area. This project will bring year-round recreation activity, including a rental/event space. The addition of a hockey rink will be a full-sized boarded space that will have a concrete floor and an open-air roof overhead that allows an extended skating season. In the summer, the space will be used for in-line hockey, a possible rain site for tennis programs, and other creative programming opportunities. A four-season shelter with a kitchen is also included in this project. As of June 23, 2023, this project is in included in the City of Eau Claire's FY 2023 - 2027 CIP and funding allotted for FY 2026 and FY 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
