Renovation of a water / sewer project in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project provides for the metering of raw water coming into the water treatment facility from the adjacent well field. Metering of raw water allows for an accurate measure of the volume of water coming into the treatment plant and, in combination with a SCADA system, automated treatment in the early stages of the process. In addition, variable frequency drives will be added to some of the plant high lift pumps and two of the high lift pumps will be replaced as part of this project. A portion of this project will begin in 2021 utilizing previously approved funds. As June 9, 2023, this project is currently in the FY 2023 - 2027 CIP and funding is allotted for FY 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
