Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jacobus, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of April 19, 2023, construction is under way, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Bids to resurface Ameda Drive and Wildasin Drive, along with drainage improvements for Jacobus Borough including profile milling and overlay with bituminous pavement wearing course, replacing storm sewer structures, and installing rolled bituminous curb. NOTE: The Jacobus Borough Council hereby authorizes Site Design Concepts, Inc. to act on its behalf by opening bids. Bids will be accepted, and contracts awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Jacobus Borough based on the recommendations of the Engineer. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Jacobus Borough in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid must be deposited by each bidder with his bid. The Jacobus Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time. Interested subcontractors should contact the general contractor directly for more information.
