Awarded to C& H Single-Family Housing Development A HUD Section 3 Opportunity for a General Contractor, to provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, site development, etc. for the construction of one new Single-Family Housing Project located at 1025 Grubbs Street Waynesboro, GA. The City-owned property will be using Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community H.O.M.E Investment Partnership (CHIP) funds to create an affordable homeownership opportunity. This is a Section 3 contract opportunity and is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Bid correspondent named above. Questions must be received by 5:00 p.m., January 27, 2023. A list of questions and answers will be provided to all known Bidders. Requests must be made to the Bid correspondent named above. Construction shall be completed is 180 calendar days for issuance of Notice to Proceed. BID AWARD AND EXECUTION The City will select the Bid that, in its sole discretion, is the most responsive and responsible Bid to the program. The City reserves the right to make any award without further discussion of the Bid submitted; there may be no best and final offer procedure. Therefore, the Bid should be initially submitted on the most favorable terms the vendor can offer. The specification may be altered by City based on the vendor's Bid and an increase or reduction of services with the manufacturer may be negotiated before Bid award and execution The City of Waynesboro reserves the right to reject any or all Bids at any time without penalty.
