The aim of this project is to bring high speed connectivity to the District through a fiber-based wide area network as described. The Kellogg School District (hereinafter, the "District") uses the Northwest Council for Computer Education (hereinafter, NCCE) to manage its E-Rate application and conduct a fair and competitive bid process. Kellogg School District resides in Shoshone County, along the Coeur d'Alene River, about thirty-five miles east of Coeur d'Alene Idaho. Nearly 1,200 students attend two elementary schools, one junior high school, and one high school. Question Deadline: Mon Feb 6, 2023 12:00 PM (PST) The District seeks options for replacing their existing Wide Area Network (WAN). The District currently has 10Gbps connections between the District hub, located at the Kellogg Middle School and the two elementary schools and the high school. The current hub for the District's WAN is: Kellogg School District Community Building 810 Bunker Avenue Kellogg, ID 87837 The hub at this building currently connects to three other sites with 10Gbps connections: Kellogg High School #2 Jacobs Gulch Kellogg, ID 87837 Pinehurst Elementary School 201 S Thirds Street Pinehurst, ID 83850 Canyon Creek Elementary School E 27491 School House Loop Cataldo, ID 83810 The District requires fiber connections between building and will accept proposals for any of the following: 1. Lit Fiber WAN service 2. Dark Fiber WAN service, including hardware Regardless of selection status, the presence of a fully executed agreement for goods or services, official board action, a Funding Commitment Decision Letter (FCDL), or similar document or action, the Respondent will not begin work until they receive a written a Notice to Proceed (NTP), Service Work Order (SWO), Purchase Order (PO), or another like document from the district. The District expects services will start on or about July 1 of the fund year, with special construction, if any, beginning after the District receives a positive Funding Commitment Decision Letter (FCDL) from the Universal Services Administrative Company (USAC). Contracts must expire on June 30 of the last fund year covered by the contract to match the E-rate fiscal year.
