Grade elevation is 900 feet above sea level and the plant is accessible by a two-lane paved road. Review/approval of CONTRACTOR welding control procedures, welder qualifications and work travelers. The work will be located in the Turbine Building Heater Bay and Main Condenser, which are in the Radiological Control Area. Based on past similar work, dose rates in this area are approximately 3 mr/hr. Because the inside ofthe condenser and existing piping may be slightly contaminated, radiological controls will be required during the removal of the existing components until bagged or covered.
