The Parks & Grounds Maintenance Branch of the City of Ottawa has a requirement for qualified contractors to provide all labour, equipment, and materials for the provision of one (1) two-person crew for slope mower services along roadsides or at other City owned properties in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of RFQ No. 15223-98836-Q01. The following equipment shall be a minimum requirement for use by the crew: - One (1) remotely controlled slope mower - Spider ILD02 or approved equivalent - One (1) battery operated backpack or hand-held blower - One (1) battery operated hand-held trimmer - Litter picking tools - Garbage bags - Rakes - Any and all safety apparel/equipment PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The period of contract shall be for the 2023 spring/summer/fall maintenance season. All unit rates shall remain FIRM for the initial period of contract. The City may, at its discretion, extend the period of contract for up to four (4) additional spring/summer/fall maintenance seasons, subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor and provided the contract pricing, terms and conditions for the extended period are acceptable to the City and the Contractor.
