Renovation of a residential development in Salem, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The work to be done under this contract includes the removal of existing siding, windows, and doors including proper, legal disposal. Install new siding, windows and doors. Details are provided in Architects specifications and drawings. Install is to be in accordance with manufacturer and Architects specifications. The five (5) properties are managed by the Salem Housing Authority (SHA). It should be assumed that the units will be occupied during the course of the contract. All entry must be coordinated at least 48 hours in advance as SHA is required to give written notice of any on site work, especially where entry is required into the unit. The contractor will keep the job site in a safe manner to keep the tenant any visitor safe from injury. It is the responsibility of the contractor to protect the tenants and their personal property from unnecessary dust, debris, theft or damage. Protect all landscaping from damage including placing protective covering on lawn areas to prevent ruts from forming and restore all landscaping to original condition or better before final inspection. The contractor is responsible for all damage to the premises or its contents. Clean-up and disposal of all debris to be done at the end of each working day is required. Construction debris not picked up each day may be removed by SHA at the contractor's expense.
