Renovation of an educational facility in Salem, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Straub Middle School is a two-story facility constructed in 2011. The school is under capacity with slowly declining enrollment projected through 2025. The identified building projects would include exterior seal and technology and communications improvements, such as expanded wireless capacity and intercom system upgrades. Bond funds would also be used to provide improved electronic badge access to exterior doors. The 2018 bond was passed and approved by the voters on May 15, 2018. An architect has not been selected.
