Renovation of a detention facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Requesting bids for a contractor to provide all materials and labor to rebuild two (2) property conveyor systems in the booking area of the Jail. There will not be a formal site visit. Any contractor wanting to tour the site shall coordinate a time with Paul Farrell (contact information in Section 8.0). Any contractor's just showing up who would like to see the site without an appointment will not be accommodated. A contract will be issued no later than end of day February 1, 2023. Substantial completion shall be by 3:00 pm CT March 31, 2023. Failure to meet substantial completion by March 31st will result in a $100.00 per day liquidated damages penalty. If a contractor does not feel March 31st is realistic for completion, contact Nicole Schoultz (information in Section 8.0) by noon January 16th with your proposed completion date. The County will consider extending the completion date and if it is extended, an addendum would be issued on January 17th to reference a revised completion date.
