On proposals over $150,000 a Proposal Guaranty of $500 is required for bids over $150,000 and may be in the form of a Cashiers Check, made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation, the BDI Bid or Proposal Bond (Form No. 375-020-16), or the standard Bid or Proposal Bond form, Form No. 375-020-09). A Contract / Performance bond is required for this project. Bidders must be a "Small Business" as defined by FDOT. The limits of coverage described herein shall apply fully to the work or operations performed under the Contract, and may not be shared with or diminished by claims unrelated to the contract.
