Site work and renovation of a civil project in Gananoque, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work of this Contract comprises upgrades to the James W. King Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Highlift Pumps 4 & 5 including but not limited to: - Decommissioning of existing Reduced voltage starters (RVSS) and associated wiring for Highlift Pumps 4 and 5. - Supply and installation of one (1) new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) with load side manual transfer switch for Highlift Pumps 4 and 5 including necessary control wiring between devices and the Highlift pump PLC. - Replacement of existing Highift Pump 4 breaker within MCC-1. - Replacement of existing Feeder breaker supplying pumping stations 2 & 3 within MCC-1. - Replacement of breaker for the Air Scour Blower within MCC-1. - Re-certification of MCC-1 by CSA field services upon completion of modifications. - Replacement of existing 600V distribution panelboard "PDP-1" and associated breakers in same location. Reconnect all supply and branch circuit wiring - Overhaul the existing Highlift Pumps 4 & 5 including removing from service, disassembling the motor, pump head, column and bowl, replacing the pump bowl, modifying the column to suit the new bowl, providing new bearings and seals, modifying the pump motor including - rewinding and, re-commission the pumps. - Obtaining necessary ESA permits and inspections to complete the scope of work. - Developing a process control narrative for the new Highlift pump VFD based on contract specifications. - Updating the Highlift pump PLC programming to accommodate the new VFD and associated control scheme. - SCADA Software modifications to accommodate the new Highlift Pump configuration. - The contractor will be required to stage their work to minimize disruption to existing plant operations. - Provide and maintain temporary, standby generation for pumping stations 2 & 3 to ensure continued operation through required shutdowns of MCC-1. The work will include: - Commissioning of all PLC / SCADA monitoring, controlling, and alarming. - Obtaining necessary ESA permits and inspections to complete the scope of work. - Developing a process control narrative for the Highlift Pump VFD controls based on contract specifications and drawings. The tender notification is available through the Town of Gananoque and Biddingo, interested parties may obtain copies of the tender documents by contacting EVB Engineering at the address listed below. The digital contract tender documents will be available to each of the interested proponents. Questions will be received until end of day February 13th, 2023 and shall be sent in writing to the Engineer. Note: Addendum will only be posting on Biddingo to known plan takers whom have contacted EVB Engineering for the documents.
