The City of Morgan's Point is now seeking competitive bids on the Public Works Operation Buildings and Site Work Improvements. The Work in this project includes the following at the primary site (Morgan's Point WWTP): Two pre-engineered metal buildings including a 54'x45' Lab and Multipurpose Building and a 70'x69' Storage Building as well as all needed electrical, plumbing, soil manipulation, grading, pavement, drainage, sidewalk, generator platform, fuel storage tank relocation, hydro mulching and all additional work needed for the completion of the items listed above. Additional miscellaneous items include CMU material storage bins, concrete truck washout area, generator platform (owner to provide generator for contractor installation), concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, concrete curbs, curb stops, pavement markings, handicap pavement symbols, concrete bollards and all proposed site work items for a complete working site. The off site park restroom installation located at the Colonel James Morgan New Washington Prairie Park is approximately 0.6 miles from the primary site for this project. Contractor to grade site and provide the proposed wood-framed restroom building. Work includes all restroom water and sewer lines, sidewalk, hydro mulch and grading for a fully functioning facility. Each bid must be submitted in a 9" x 12" envelope and accompanied by Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, duly executed, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid. Questions deadline is January 31, 2023 at 4:30 PM.
