The Housing Authority of the City of Torrington is seeking sealed bids for:Fire Protection Upgrades at Torrington Towers located in Torrington, CT for the Housing Authority of the City of Torrington. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to upgrades to the fire protection system, and associated work as shown on drawings and specifications The Contract Documents will also be on file for review only with the Contracting Officer of the Housing Authority of the City of Torrington, CT, located at the Administrative Offices, 110 Prospect Street, Torrington, CT.No documents will be mailed or delivered in any form.5% Bid Security and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds required.Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246) and related provisions in the General Conditions.No bid shall be withdrawn for ninety (90) days.Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents.Any individual with a disability who needs special assistance to participate should contact the City of Torrington Housing Authority at 860- 482-3581 at least five (5) days before the bid opening.
