Site work and paving for a road / highway in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project work is comprised of furnishing all equipment, labor, material, plant, and superintendence to perform all work necessary for the milling and paving of the existing pavement, replace existing catch basins, reset catch basin and manhole tops, repair existing driveway aprons, traffic markings & signs, lawn restoration, and associated miscellaneous work. A bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall accompany each bid with a performance bond and a labor & materials bond. A non-collusion statement for Prime Contractors and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the City Purchasing Agent no later than Tuesday February 21, 2023 at 12 noon. The City of Torrington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, or to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest bid, and to award the contract as it feels will best serve the public interest. All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days.
