Renovation of a multi-residential development in Valdez, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Remodel of apartment Unit 7 in the Valdez Senior Center, excluding bathroom. Work to include; removal/disposal of any remaining hooks/nails/screws/shelving on walls, complete wall and ceiling repair/patching as needed. Paint throughout including casing, baseboard, trim, closet interiors and shelving with temporary removal of all blinds and curtain rods as needed. Installation of new; lighting fixtures, ceiling fan, outlet covers, fin tube covers, kitchen cabinets, vinyl flooring/cove base, carpet/carpet pad, subfloor renovations as needed for threshold compliance to meet 2010 ADA standards as described in Sections 303 & 404.2.5 All questions and material substitutions need to be submitted to the project manager by Tuesday, January 17, 2023 @ 4:00pm. All questions will be addressed via an addendum. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.
