A. Item(s) Description 1. 4" Ductile Iron Pipe (L. F.) 2. 6" Ductile Iron Pipe (L. F.) 3. 8" Ductile Iron Pipe (L. F.) B. Additional Specifications, if any 1. Class 52, 3 wedges per pipe. Pipe shall conform to all applicable AWWA specifications. 2. Interior Lining: A double thickness cement lining shall be provided for all pipe in accordance with AWWA C104 (ANSI A21.4), latest revision. 3. Exterior Coating: For exterior piping the standard outside coating shall be a bituminous coating of either coal tar or asphalt base approximately one (1) mil thick. The standard coating shall be applied to the outside of all pipes unless otherwise specified. The finished coating shall be continuous, smooth, neither brittle when cold nor sticky when exposed to the sun and shall be strongly adhered to the pipe.
