Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Rivanna AHQ, 501-18130-050 at Charlottesville (Albemarle Co.), VA. The project is generally described as a 4,998 sf, 1 story, steel frame, masonry wall Combo Building, 9,672 sf, 1 story, steel frame, masonry wall Equipment Storage Building and Fueling Station. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive. (When bid bonds are requested, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bond.)
