Renovation of a municipal facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Consent of Surety: .1 Submit with Bid Form and Bid Bond, Consent of Surety, stating that surety providing Bid Bond is willing to supply Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bond specified. .2 The City will also accept an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in lieu of Consent of Surety. Performance Assurance: .1 Accepted Bidder must provide Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as described in Supplementary Conditions. .2 In lieu of performance and labor and materials bond, the successful contractor must provide security in the form of a certified cheque for the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total contract bid, made payable to the owner. .3 15% holdback on contract to be released upon Substantial Completion, as determined by the City.
