Performance Assurance: .1 Accepted Bidder must provide Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as described in Supplementary Conditions. .2 In lieu of performance and labor and materials bond, the successful contractor must provide security in the form of a certified cheque for the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total contract bid, made payable to the owner. .3 15% holdback on contract to be released upon Substantial Completion, as determined by the City.
