A. The work to be performed under this contract consists of providing the labor, equipment, materials, methods, means, safety programs and devices, and testing to construct the Wentzville East Lifts station as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by Thouvenot, Wade & Moerchen, Inc.. B. The work consists of the following, but not limited to: 1. Installation of Wet Well and Valve Vault 2. Installation of 3 submersible pumps 3. Installation of a Control Panel and Flow Meter 4. Installation of 10 PVC force main 5. Installation of Detention Piping 6. Rerouting of the existing 4 force main 7. Abandonment and filling of the existing Dry Pit 8. Site work and grading 9. Replacement of a concrete pavement 10. Appurtenances C. The above general outline of principal work tasks does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish the required materials, equipment, labor, and means as shown or required by the contract documents. The City of Wentzville is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for for the East Lift Station Replacement project, which consists of construction of new triplex submersible pump station and valve vault, emergency storage, all associated piping, fittings, valves, electrical and controls equipment, connection to existing gravity sewer and 10-inch force main, abandoning existing lift station and all associated site work.
